PAX is a three-day game festival for tabletop, videogame, and PC gamers. We call it a festival because in addition to dedicated tournaments and freeplay areas we’ve got nerdcore concerts, panel discussions, the weekend-long Omegathon event, and an exhibitor hall filled with booths displaying the latest from top game publishers and developers.

At this year’s PAX East in Boston, people were able to get their hands on the new multi-platform playable demo of the award winning Ms. Splosion Man! Twisted Pixle recently announced that Ms. Splosion Man will be to be making her way to Steam, Games For Windows LIVE, Windows Phone 7, iPhone and iPad.

What do I love as much as video games? You guessed it, cosplay! This year the attendees at PAX East sported some amazing costumes! A few highlights include: a fully functioning Transformer, a guitar playing Link, and Kid Icarus. Below I'll share a few of my personal favorites!

For the first time ever, Gearbox will have a playable demo of Borderlands 2 that will let gamers tear it up in co-op mode on “Caustic Caverns” as Salvador the Gunzerker and Maya the Siren. Plus, everyone who tries it out will also leave with a custom PAX East baseball tee repping the Vault logo. (Can’t pass up SWAG!)
