At the 2010 San Francisco’s Game Developers Conference (GDC), Dolby unveiled new tools along with plans to bring Dolby Axon surround voice chat to the PS3, Xbox360, and Mac. The new software developer kit (SDK) ports will enable game developers to integrate Dolby Axon to these platforms for multiplayer online game titles and that the general availability for these ports is slated for April 2010.

On March 10, 2010 at the San Francisco GDC, Wild Pockets unveiled a new version of its free 3D game builder that will include new content management, a project collaboration system, an online gallery for artists to showcase and share 3D models and a redesigned user interface and API improvements to include a new animation system.

InstantAction announced their immediate release of a new direct-to-consumer online video game distribution platform for game creators. This new platform will enable game creators to embed any video game anywhere on the web, such as Facebook and Myspace. It will also allow games to be embedded in blogs, email and other social media sites.

Announced on March 11, 2010, Green Day: Rock Band will be launching worldwide on June 8th, 2010 for the Xbox360, the PS3, and the Nintendo Wii! The game will have 47 exportable tracks, including rare access to the Green Day media vault, artist likenesses and more!

At the GDC in San Francisco, Razer announced along with Sixense Entertainment March 9, 2010 that the Ultra-Precise Motion Controller SDK (Software Developer Kit) and FPS (First Person Shooter) utility library will be available for download from Steam.
