Wallets, it’s time to celebrate because Nintendo announced recently that both the DSi and DSi XL will be getting a change in price. Thank goodness!
“We know shoppers want to get the maximum value out of every dollar they spend,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive V.P of Sales & Marketing.
The systems will be taking a price cut of $20 each. Starting on September 12, the price of the DSi will be $149.99, and the DSi XL will be $169.99. As for the DS Lite, that will be staying the same at $129.
“Our new Nintendo DSi prices make it easier than ever for consumers to access the tremendous variety of games, applications and social tools on the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL systems.”
On top of the newly listed prices, the company also announced that Gold Sun: Dark Dawn will be released in North America on November 29.
Straight from the mouth of a broke gamer, I say “Thank you, Nintendo.”
