This weekend, while the rest of the crew was in San Diego covering Comic Con 2010, GG-Myasharona and yours truly offered our opinions on a slew of topics for the Next Gen Alliance podcast.

The NGA Podcast is brought to you every week by the Digital Gaming Underground (or as I call it, Da-Gu, hence my nickname, Lady GuGu, LOLZ) and offers news, debate and jackassery regarding the latest in our gaming world.

This week’s topics were:

1) $400 HALO: Reach Xbox 360 bundle drops Sept. 14. Bungie confirms Microsoft will release package including 250GB silver-finish slimline version of console, two controllers, and next installment in the sci-fi series on September 14. Is anybody going to get it and you do think it’s worth $400?

2) PS3 Netflix to be disc-free by fall. Is anybody going try it?

3) Mark Hamill, Kevin Conroy voicing DC Universe Online Voice actors bring the Joker, Batman to life in Sony Online Entertainment’s upcoming super hero MMORPG; additional voice actors include Adam Baldwin, Gina Torres, James Marsters, and Michelle Forbes. This game is going to be on the PS3 and PC for November 2.

4) THQ Blames Red Dead Redemption for low UFC game sales. Do you all think THQ has a real complaint or they did not market their game enough?

5) Last week a report on a Wall Street Journal article tagged the development cost of StarCraft II at more than $100 million. According to Blizzard, it was a case of right price, wrong game. Does it really matter how much it costs to make a game?

6) The DLC for Alan Wake: The Signal. Did anybody play it?

7) Comic Con

...and more!

Be sure to tune in to the NGA Podcast every Sunday and follow them on Twitter.
