Last weekend in the small town of Raynham, Massachusetts, two teens aged 16 and 12, found themselves in serious trouble after taking Grand Theft Auto a little TOO seriously.
Drawing inspiration from the the in-game Molotov Cocktails, they decided to make their own late last Saturday then left two of the cocktails burning right outside their apartment complex’s garage, which were found by a passerby.
Sitting on the ground, LIT. I’m no Molotov expert, but aren’t those suppose to be thrown?
The two boys were later apprehended after a graffiti spree around the neighborhood and when caught, told the police they got the idea from the game they were playing earlier, Grand Theft Auto.
“They appear to have crossed the line from virtual reality to reality,” said Police Chief Lou Pacheco.
They are now being held in juvenile court and will be facing charges of Possession of an Explosive Device and Attempted Arson.
Kids these days.

Speak of the devil, I think I see a burning Molotov sitting outside my house. LOL!
Those crazy kids! I've been playing GTA since I was like 10 and all it did was make my brain speak in the same accent as the characters for a while after playing. Lol.
Eh, funnier with nades.

1 year, 7 months agoI remember how Mario inspired me to eat mushrooms...Before people start blaming publishers and game companies can we start with the parents. The name of the game should have been of concern. Parents fault here.
