Ciji “StarSlay3r” Thornton Will Represent GH Squad at 2009 Guitar Hero Pan American Championship

WCG USA team member, Ciji “StarSlay3r” Thornton will be competing on the Guitar Hero squad September 11th-13th at the 2009 Guitar Hero Pan American Championship in Guadalajara, Mexico!

Currently living in the ever-thriving Los Angeles, CA area, Ciji has been competing in the videogame industry since 1998 but it was not until 2006 that she reached her Pro status. Although best known for her amazing handle in Guitar Hero, Ciji does compete in all genres and platforms and throughout her career, she has achieved over 30 “Top 5” finishes in 7 different games and 3 genres.

Aside from gaming, Ciji also works as a model, spokesperson, game demonstrator, photographer, junior systems game engineer/analyst, actress and event hostess. Just recently, she became the new spokesmodel for Tritton Technologies. On top of all this, she manages to take the time out of her busy schedule to help out a variety of causes. A few of the charities she works with are the Autism Society of America, breast cancer research, and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Her speciality: Rhythm, fighting, and racing
Current Competitive Games: Rock Band, Need for Speed, Street Fighter 4, Tekken, Guitar Hero, and BlazBlue.
