At the end of the Sony Conference, Naughty Dog unveiled a very impressive gameplay demo for their new upcoming survival horror game, The Last of Us.
The demo showed how both of the characters interact with each other and helped each other out while finding their way to safety. One of the memorable instances in the demo is when the character Joel, fires his gun but runs out of ammo. Hearing the click, the survivor knows he’s out of bullets and threatens to kill him.
But as the survivor approaches Joel, Ellie comes from the side and throws a rock at his head! She does this while saying witty banter, of course.
Just in that moment the audience clapped, and why wouldn’t they? It showed HUGE character interactions between the player and AI which is truly outstanding.
Doesn’t that make you wish you can run out to the store and buy it TODAY?!!
Still no release date for this bad boy, but hopefully during all of E3 they finally announce when we are expected to see The Last of Us in stores.
