Crytek, the masterminds behind the Crysis series, are now going mobile! It may not be their usual eye candy first person shooter, but Fibble – Flick n’ Roll will be bringing action back to puzzle games.

“With Fibble – Flick ‘n’ Roll, Crytek is aiming to surprise people with a whole new style of game as well as to make a big impact in the field of mobile entertainment,” said Nick Button-Brown, General Manager of Games at Crytek.“It will also give us a great opportunity to make a big splash with a whole new generation of players who’ve yet to play a Crytek game. We ourselves love to play games on mobile devices and we very much look forward to bringing our production values and skills to them.”

Here’s a look:

After Fibble and his extraterrestrial crew crash land on planet Earth, they find themselves separated and lost inside a house. It may not sound like much, but his team mates are split up everywhere – in the bathroom, kitchen, and even the basement! It’s up to Fibble to roll around exploring, regroup his team mates, and head back home safe and sound.

“Going mobile is an incredibly exciting step for us as a game development company. The way that people play games on mobile devices is a real blessing. This allows us to get back to our roots, experiment and focus our energy on creating great gameplay experiences while still keeping Crytek’s high production values.”, stated Cevat Yerli, CEO of Crytek.

No official price or release date has been set yet according to the Fibble website, but we will see it this spring. We do know for certain though that it will be iOS and Android compatible.

Will his friends ever make it back home? Will Fibble be lost forever?! We will find out soon enough…
