Ask A Ninja iPhone Game

As I mentioned before in this mobile monday article when we reviewed the game Bowman, I told you to wait til the Ask A Ninja game came out. Well the wait is over. It has officially launched in the app store in iTunes iTunes link.

I got the pleasure to beta test this game and I guess now I can officially talk about my experience.

It’s a fun game that takes full use of all of the iPhone’s capabilities, from using the accelerometer to aim darts, to balancing atop a pole, to tapping along as you practice your fighting skills in a game of memory. And as I mentioned before, there is a game very similar to Bowman, but better. To top it all off, the game is laced with witty quips from the ninja himself keeping you fully entertained during the whole experience.

One of the best features (at least in the beta) was the ability to view Ask A Ninja episodes within the app, no need to exit the app to YouTube, you can play a game or watch an episode seamlessly with just a few taps of the finger.

I’m not going to spill all the beans here, you’ll just have to go and download the game for yourself. In fact I need to do the same, since it came out mere hours ago.

Priced at 1.99 (introductory price) it’s a steal for the amount of content featured in the game, the game builds on an existing franchise that has consistently brought the funny to the interwebs.

Look for a full review sometime in the near future.

The game is developed by axostudios and the game page is here.

Check out the Ask A Ninja game page for screen shots.
