New Addition to Street Fighter IV

Capcom’s Street Fighter 4 has finally made its way to the American stores this week and it has already made quite the impact. Just last week the game made it’s debut in Japan and was nearly completely sold out of copies. While being called Street Fighter 4 the game is actually not the fourth street fighter game. Many versions of the game have been released over the past few decades, and many characters have come and gone as well. This time around, both old and new characters are being thrown into the mix. We are already familiar with the Home Team but let’s check out the newcomers.

The New Guys:

Abel: Abel uses a special form of French mixed martial arts. He may be the most mysterious out of all the new characters as he is described as “a man with no past”.

Crimson Viper: Crimson Viper is an American agent. She wears sunglasses and form-fitting suit. Hidden in her boots and gloves are small devices. Her boots also have an added kick: jets. These jets allow her to jump high in the air.

Rufus: Don’t be fooled by Rufus’ size, he can move pretty fast considering he ways upward of 500 pounds. He is an American Kung-Fu fighter. He considers Ken Masters his rival in the series. He also appears to be a really big fan of popcorn.

El Fuerte: El Fuerte is a Mexican luchador who works hard training and honing his lucha libre skills. He also fancies himself quite the chef, and when he’s not fighting he’s gathering recipes.
