GirlGamer has been selected as a Web Awards Finalist for South By Southwest Interactive Festival 2009, happening March 13 to March 17 in Austin, Texas. We’re also up for the People’s Choice Award, which YOU can vote on, once a day, at www.sxsw.com/peoples-choice!
If you haven’t heard of South by Southwest (or SXSW), it’s 2 week long conference and festival featuring the best in music, film, and interactive (aka Web). The Interactive part of SXSW lasts 5 days, and GirlGamer will be on scene with a gaming booth in the Screenburn Arcade, speaking on panels, and of course, hoping to win a coveted SXSWi Web Award! BE SURE TO VOTE FOR US EVERY DAY! If we win, we’ll make sure something cool happens for everyone who helped!
Also, if you’re going to be at SXSW or near Austin, come by and say hi! You don’t need a conference pass for the Screenburn Arcade! See you there!
