Prison Break: The Conspiracy can best be described as “Splinter Cell Lite;” fewer exciting moments, but it can still be a fun test of stealth and patience, overall. It’s easy enough for casual gamers and fans of the show, while still offering its fair share of challenges and a plethora of easily-obtained Achievements/Trophies to make it worth your while. There is an impressive use of sound and music, as well as some interesting insider knowledge of lock picking…although common sense will make you raise your eyebrows more than once during gameplay.
The plot, although pretty much handed to you, is well-conceived by the show’s original writers and serves as a tie-in to the first season of the Prison Break TV series. Whether you’ve seen the show or not; if you enjoy the concept of stealth games but find the more “hardcore” examples too frustrating, you may wanna try a brief stint in this prison. If you’re looking for a ground-breaking game with non-stop action, however, you’d better keep on walking.
