The games starts out with John K. Facey exploring the sewers. Instead of a life bar there is a sanity meter. The meter determines how much sanity you have left. There lower it gets the more monsters you see. Blue orbs refill your sanity but they are fairly hard to come by.

The controls are simple, you use the left, right and down arrow to move and you use the up arrow to jump. Space bar lets you use a blue orb. Your only defense against all the monsters is jumping on top of them. That sounds easy enough but some monsters can fly. Despite how many orbs you seem to find there is a constant flow of monsters.

There are many interesting things about this game. Some levels you just start walking up walls, and some monsters make you fly through the air. The audio in this game is really good too.

However, overall I didn’t enjoy playing the game. Sanity didn’t last long enough, there was no clear direction of where to go, and jumping wasn’t a good enough way to defend yourself. The game was very challenging in the first few levels alone, I can’t imagine how hard the very end must be. While it’s not a “bad” game it certainly isn’t as good as other adultswim games, or other internet based game either.
