Twisted Metal No More?

If you don’t know who David Jaffe is, he’s the creator of Playstation’s ever so popular God of War and Twisted Metal series. Lately, it’s been rumored for a while now that Jaffe’s company, Eat Sleep Play, was working on a new Twisted Metal but on May 25, 2010, all of those hopes were crushed.

Jaffe posted on his Twitter:

“By the way, I WISH we were making a new Twisted Metal. Making game you’ve already worked on is tons easier cuz your core blueprint is already there. This new game design stuff tho? Man, that is hard…reason I’m so stressed these days!”

Jaffe went on to say the game he is currently working on might not even be announced at E3, so the mystery continues of what Eat Sleep Play is working on but I for one am truly saddened at the news of no new Twisted Metal.

Have we heard the last of Sweet Tooth’s last demonic laugh?
