I know I still have a week to wait, but I am super stoked for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance to “drop” in the US. However, I was surprised to find out from an article on eurogamer.net stating that Final Fantasy characters seem take a backseat in this game, leaving behind only a few Moogles to run the shops. These characters are replaced with ones from an obscure cult classic, also developed by Square Enix, called The World Ends With You.
I know at first I will miss having Cid pilot my Gummi ship, but I also look forward utilizing the new method of travel that is present in this game. The characters will now tumble through portals, fighting baddies along the way, in order to travel between worlds.
In Kingdom hearts 3DS, the player will be challenged to protect and traverse two parallel worlds. One will follow the protagonist Sora, and the other his friend Riku as they commence travel through an intertwining story line.
To download the demo to your 3DS, scan the code found on the Square Enix website and or go to the Nintendo eShop and download.
