If you didn’t have enough of a reason already to grab Borderlands 2, then I’ll give you one more! 2K Games and Gearbox Software just announced their pre-order incentives for their upcoming sequel, Borderlands 2.
Not only will players gain access into the Premiere Club, they’ll also be able to pick up exclusive in-game items and bonuses just for pre-ordering!
“The addictive gameplay and shooting and looting mayhem of the first Borderlands is back and better than ever in Borderlands 2, taking the franchise to an entirely new level,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “With more guns, more enemies, more missions, an engaging story and all-new characters,Borderlands 2 promises to bring a new era to gaming this fall.”
Golden Key – unlocks a rare loot chest found in the Golden Sanctuary.
Vault Hunter’s Relic – will increase the players equipment drop rate for both solo and group play.
Gear Box Gun Pack – features three unique weapons, and makes for a perfect starter kit for anyone ready to kick some butt!
The game is still unrated but what we do know is it will probably fall around the $60 price range (similar to the first Borderlands.)
All it takes to pre-order at Gamestop is $5 down to reserve your copy AND nail the bonus!
