PAX '11 - Dead Rising 2: Off the Record

Let the smack down and photo taking begin – PAX brings new info regarding Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. First announced in April, we really haven’t seen anything new on the subject until this weekend, when Capcom unveiled some amusing screenshots (below) and this trailer:

As you can see, Frank West is our protagonist once again – having survived the Williamette incident of the first game, Frank can’t resist a good story; which sends him to Fortune City. With his own point of view of the outbreak i.e. unique storyline, his own improvised weapons, new crazy enemies and more to do, fans of the franchise should be looking forward to Off the Record.

Just as in the first Dead Rising, Frank comes complete with his trusty camera – earn Prestige Points by taking pictures.

In addition to the new weapons, environments, etc., Capcom also noted that gamers can look forward to some technical improvements. Off the Record will include load time optimizations and system upgrades.

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is a full title launching for XBox360, PS3 and PC on October 14th. Come on, zombies, put your masks on – it’s time to party!
