Greetings, Gamers! I found a way to post the Forum Rules in a prominent place - under Forum Picks. Please take a look at it and let one of us know if you have questions.
The rules about being respectful always applied but the rules about recruiting for clans, introducing yourself, etc. are new, so please check them out and adhere to them from this point forward. If you posted right before I posted the rules, you're excused this one time. :-)
You will also be happy to know that I've gathered ALL your suggestions for the site and things are in the works. Please continue to add suggestions and report any bugs on our Feedback tab.

Ah! Don't be afraid, it won't bite, in fact, it's very helpful! This tab will allow you to notify us of bugs, problems and even suggestions and compliments so we can make GirlGamer the very best it can be.
If you want to change your password, user name, etc. you can contact me directly at hbduran@girlgamer.com.
You can offer feedback through the tab, our Facebook page or by emailing me directly for more account-specific issues anytime.

Hey all, Angel here. As you might have noticed, we had a handful of spam bots sign up and post strange blogs selling imaginary (or maybe real) products. The blogs are for your own personal enjoyment - to share stories, your feelings, opinions, links, etc. If you are promoting something that YOU are doing, such as acting, sponsoring a gaming event, etc. feel free to post about it, but please limit it to one blog post per event to prevent the blogs from turning into a classified section.
Also, a few trolls have been removed from the site, so if you encounter any additional problems, please send an email to hbduran@girlgamer.com.

Check out the latest prizes up for grabs & GP Redemptions in the newly launched Participate section! Tell your friends! The more people that enter, the better the prizes get!
We've also issued TONS of new updates to the site overall with lots more to come! You may have noticed a few, such as email notifications, better privacy options, and more!

Happy to say we fixed a bunch of small number of very annoying items today! Here's a rundown:
- "View more" browsing in on member profiles and various areas of community added.
- Media is now organized in sets for better viewing.
- Action links added to Dashboard for Game Library, Blog, and Media
- Media Albums now work right.
- You can now browse older items in the Community Feed.
- Lots of other backend fixes!
We'll be making updates and fixes to teh site every few days, so rest assured that GirlGamer is going to continue to get more awesome.
ALSO, we are teaming up with a few cool people to giveaway some cool prizes, so stay tuned!

The core GirlGamer team is finally back from the craziness of SXSW, GDC, and Web 2.0 Expo. You've probably noticed some weirdness on the site over the last few weeks, we dealt with most of it, hopefully it won't be seen again.
That said, there's a lot of small things that are missing with the site, such as the ability to delete your own media items, and other things that we are working on getting fixed this week. If you notice anything like that, let us know here in the comments or in the feedback areas of the site! We'll get those bugs dealt with right away!

Thanks to you all who met up with us at SXSW! It's been crazy! Sorry for the lack up updates in the last week, but we are a small team and it took all of us to get it done. We're busy prepping for GDC, and getting the next round of updates out. Mainly, working on the Participate section and the 'view more' fixes. Wanna help us out? YAY! Our public beta launch is up! What do you all think? We know there are some bigs and definitely a few annoying things that need to be streamlined, and we're working on it every day. We update daily, so let us know if you're having any issues and we'll handle it ASAP. We aren't n00bs here, we know good dev never really stops! Also, we'll be at SXSW and GDC this month, so be sure to meet up if you'll be there too!
Town Hall is a place where you can let us know what you want for GirlGamer, and we can let you know what cool stuff we’re working on. We’re going to keep expanding GirlGamer and adding new cool features as long as we can, so we hope you’ll tell us what you think.
