I suppose Zelda started it, FF brought it along and Disgaea finished it. XD

Hey. They're all completely different, but they're all still RPG's.

Hmmm. I can't really recall. It may have been Final Fantasy, Arc the Lad, Persona, or Xenosaga.

FF6. Chrono Trigger.Watching my best friend play Lunar on Sega CD. My mom reading me Lord of the Rings and the Chronicles of Narnia and The Last Unicorn as a kid. Somewhere in there I got a taste for the fantastic. XD

I think reading the series that went with a Stitch In Time and watching Labrynth, Dark Crystal, and Neverending Story got me into the Fantasy genre :)

I think if I had played Chrono Trigger as a little girl, I would have gone wild over it.

Shining Force (Sega Genesis) circa 1992, when I was 11. (For people who are younger, it kinda has a turn-base fighting system similar to Final Fantasy Tactics). It started with the Shining in the Darkness game, which was first person RPG, and ...honestly, quite strange to play, especially today. But Shining Force I and II and CD are pretty stand-alone, they don't need the series to be played, but are fun and have interesting characters and crappy translated story line. It's cool though, you can find 3 of the 4 games on the Sonic's Ultimate Sega Genesis Collection-- by far the best thing about owning that game.
