Girl Gamer

So, my friend won a bunch of tickets for a trip to Gamescom in Cologne and I'm so excited! I was just wondering... Is anyone from here going or have you been before? If you've been before, did you enjoy it?
I've only been to one convention before - the MCM Expo in London - and I'm not really sure what to expect at this one. I know there were a lot of anime fans at the London one but I'm not sure what's going to be at this one, other than gaming companies and car manufacturers.
Any clue?

Even i live in Germany and never been before there at the GamesCom. Don't have that money to visit it. You will enjoy it for sure, saw the videos from other GamesCom and i wish i was there. And You should prob pack your own food with, because buying food there is much more expensive.

Ah, I figured as much. Will probably end up taking cheap noodles with me or just living off of a loaf of bread :L As long as I'm there it won't matter though.
