What games have you played that were really unique/original?
For me I'd say Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, Thousand Arms, Ico...to name a few lol.

Braid and Limbo come to mind.
There is actually a number I'd recommend but my mind is drawing a blank. One I can think of now is Folklore for the PS3. Very beautiful, visually poetic and interesting game. Also on Steam for the PC I rather liked Lucidity (haven't finished it yet) which is a puzzler side scroller designed to look almost like a childrens' storybook. It was published by LucasArts and aside from the controls being a bit odd, was pretty fun.
More recent stuff, I'd say, would be Maybe Catherine for xbox or ps3. It is sort of a puzzler as well but also has a lot of social/Sim aspects to it that make it very intriguing. Hard as sin in spots but.. the sort of social commentary it has running through it about lfie, love and relationships is interesting. :)
Braid is okay. A little too over hyped IMO and Limbo was nice but I only ever played the demo...I'd like to play the full the game. I've played Folklore though. Very unique game but it became so.... repetitive. I plan on playing Catherine soon since I liked the demo and it's creators other games, it's in my to play list :)
It double posted but I don't see a delete button so.... :)
Mine would (aside from Rhapsody) is P.N. 03
Awesome gamecube game. ^__^
Oh, Indigo Prophecy is another awesome one. Brute Force as well. And Dreamfall
Limbo was awesome, gets so crazy at the end
Not completely unique or anything but I was quite impressed with Alpha Protocol, the dialogue system was one I'd never seen before and thought was very nice indeed.
I definitely agree with Limbo, and honestly Bioshock is another one. :)
I always thought Myst was unique. Portal as well.
Though fairly popular, I found Heavy Rain to be quite unique, at least compared to most games. I love that it focuses on characters and story rahther than action. One of my favorite games.
