Idk about anyone else but I can never keep any friends especially since most girls I know do not play games and we do not relate on many levels. As a gamer Im also messy lol, watch family guy and other crude shows and barely wear make-up or dress up I just like being comfortable. Does anyone else have this problem? :(
Hi, calichica. IRL, I don't have any girl friends who play on the same console... Anyways, to answer ur question, I don't have many friends due to personality conflicts, interests, and real life goals. Everyone I used to hang out with is still doing the same thing after all these years where as I have settled down and havea different view and focus. I now only have a small handful of friends, but it is quality not quantity. So, in a way, yes. I'm sure there are compatible friends out there. Maybe you can try gaming events in town or find a cool gamer friend here! :)
All my RL friends play video games but only at my house, but I know a ton of girls who are just like you! (I am one of them!), There are lots of girl gamers and multiple different types...I know theres the ones who when your in a lobby with them they just yell and put you down. Im sure if anyones seen my posts heres where I'm going to sound like a broken record but www.pmsclan.com has some of the friendlist girl gamers I have ever met and there located all over the world :D
I can't find either a guy or a girl to game with in real life. They do game but only on consoles. Thank god for the internet. :)
I have plenty of guy friends but not many girl friends. Just haven't found a girl I click with on any level.
yh the PMS| H2O clan is a very friendly clan. I've been with them a year and i dont think i could ever say good bye to the people I've met so far. gaming is definiatley more fun than when playing with my usual friends that dont play as much as me.
I've made more girl friends in the area that game through tournaments. One of my best girl friends I actually met on xbox live though. =) We've been gaming for 2 or 3 years together now. We're talking about going backpacking through Europe next year.
I really don`t have any close friends that are girls oo I just have boys that is gaming with me xD
I know how you feel. I'm a mom of 3 kids. And have a handfull of RL friends that I call my mommy friends. But they are not into gaming. It is kinda hard to find female friends that are in to the "cool" stuff im in too. I'm like you, calichica. I like being comfortable, having fun and a good laugh. And I don't mind getting a little muddy. But why is it so hard to find other females who are the same as me?
I have a couple females in my life that game, but most of them are more casual.
I also have a couple awesome online friends that I met on Steam playing L4D2.
But my lack of gaming friends is more towards being socially awkward and liking to just play by myself or co-op with my husband. I am too competitive, and my husband is more understanding when I'm a sore loser haha.
hahah well i don't really have many close female friends in the first place because i hang out a lot with guys and i can be quite boyish myself... since i rarely click with girls on a personal level, i can't even begin to imagine finding a girl who plays the kinds of games i play, or even plays as much as i do! but no regrets or sadness there 'cos i play games with my brother most of the time and it's great 'cos we're really close. i think that's good enough :)
Most of my real life friends don't game but they would if I asked them but I have a lot of kool girls that I game with online but if any girls want to add me and game their welcome to just ma and say your from here cause I get a lot of random adds lol
