If she was hot, easy to get along with, and lives near me then you bet my tight ass I would.

I've met a few people from XBOX Live after playing with them for 2 years +.... I also had them on facebook before meeting them for at least a year so the mystery of whether these people are who they say they are was eliminated. If they are fun to play with and seem like good people, go for it... again, i say this because im 23 years old and an adult which i assume you all are but if this advice is going out to someone below 18 then the rules are different obviously.

Yes I have met someone, not really from in game so much as it was because of a game. I actually ended up marrying him too and now we game together.

In my experience, long distance relationships never seem to workout.

I met my fiance on DDO. We now live together and are getting married next year. ^_^ ♣

I met my husband on a forum, and we played games together online. Long distance relationships are so fricken hard. We met four years ago and have been married and living together for three :)

I have also made some good friends through Steam. Basically, the internet is awesome. I am socially awkward and meeting people online is helpful when getting to know someone at first. No awkward silences.
