I mostly play Final Fantasy and some on-line MMO's

enjoyed ff1 through to 9 however the final fantasys after these ones stopped enticing me T_T

You can have as many favorites as you want haha :)
I enjoyed FFX, but all the ones after that I just did not find as enjoyable.
Overall I think FF is a good franchise, but I do hope they make future games a little less linear. Some of my favorite parts of FF games have been the side quests!
EXACTLY, the side quests gave more depth to the world you were in and to the characters your suppose to play as and with.
making the world your in look amazing isn't enough if your unable to explore any of it.
