E3 - 2009 Day 1

Hello everyone, we shot some more video this morning and it’s all ready to be uploaded and put up. The only problem is that the network here at E3 is PATHETIC. It’s not handling uploads at all. I can shoot and edit video all day here, but trying to upload anything has become a MASSIVE headache. Video may just have to wait until late tonight when I can get home to my home network. Sorry.
I’ll make sure I shoot a few more things and get them back to you ASAP.

Nintendo’s press conference this morning was more “press” like than Microsoft’s yesterday. While not as jaw dropping as Microsofts, Nintendo continues to push forward with its mantra of simplicity and intutiveness that is encapsulated with in the Wii platform. We’ll do our best to get some hands on time with many of the games that were debuted at the conference. Me personally, I want to try out the new metroid and the new 4 player Mario game. On a side note I’m dying to get some hands on time with L4D2 and I hear it’s available on the show floor. And we have an appointment with Valve later this week. I’ll keep you updated as we see stuff. Keep checking back for more updates throughout the week.

Well here we are on the 1st morning of E3, and the show doesn’t even officially start until tomorrow. Headed down to see the EA press conference for sure and we’re going to try and find a way into the Microsoft press conference (fingers crossed).
We’ve listened to all the suggestions in the forum of stuff that you want covered. And we’ll try to bring you as much as we can during the show.
We’ve got a great team covering the show and we hope that with the added help we can bring you all the coverage you can handle.
I’ll try to maybe do a post or two a day from E3 to bring you up to date on some of the stuff that’s going on. Check back here and feel free to leave comments.
